Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn is launching a new Road Safety Community Grant Fund. The Fund is being launched to support local initiatives that improve safety on our roads across the Dyfed-Powys area.

This funding opportunity aims to empower community groups, organisations, and partners to deliver projects that raise awareness, influence behaviour, and reduce the risk of collisions and harm. It aligns with the priorities set out by the Police and Crime Commissioner in the Police and Crime Plan 2025–2029, particularly our shared commitment to preventing harm, supporting safer communities, and strengthening partnership working.

We are inviting applications for projects that may include:

  • Education and awareness programmes
  • Behaviour-change campaigns
  • Community road safety engagement events
  • Training and skills development linked to road safety
  • Evidence-led pilot projects

We would greatly appreciate your support in helping to promote this opportunity through your networks, partners, and communities. By working together, we can reach those best placed to deliver meaningful, local impact.

Further information, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, can be found here: Dyfed-Powys Police & Crime Commissioner
