Dyfed-Powys OPCC Youth Ambassadors take part in Youth Scrutiny Panel
Young people from our Youth Ambassador scheme, came together on Tuesday 8 September to take part in a Youth Ambassador Scrutiny Panel.
The session provided an important opportunity for the Youth Ambassadors to share their views, ask questions and offer a young person’s perspective on issues affecting their communities.
Through open and constructive discussion, the ambassadors demonstrated the important role young people can play in scrutinising services and helping to influence future decision making.
Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said:
“Our Youth Ambassadors ensure that young people have a meaningful voice in matters that can affect them and their peers. Their enthusiasm and dedication are incredibly valuable, and I would like to thank everyone who took part.“
The Youth Ambassador scheme enables young people to represent their peers, develop new skills and contribute to the work of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. Applications are currently open for the scheme , you can find out more and apply via our website: Dyfed-Powys Police & Crime Commissioner
