The Office of the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner endeavour to make available as much information as possible on this website. You will see from our Publication Scheme and Disclosure Log all the information that is already available without submitting a Freedom of Information request. Our Disclosure Log also provides details of all requests we have received under the Freedom of Information Act and the responses provided. Before submitting an FOI request, you may wish to refer to our disclosure log to determine if the information you require has been provided previously.
If you wish to make a request for information, the request must be made in writing, either by letter or e-mail. Your request must include your name and address for correspondence and must describe clearly what information you are seeking. Alternatively, you may complete the on line form.

Information relating to Dyfed Powys Police
The Office of the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner and Dyfed Powys Police are two separate organisations, if you require information they may hold then you can submit your request here: Request information | Dyfed-Powys Police
If a request for information held by Dyfed Powys Police is received by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, a response will be provided informing the applicant that we do not hold the information they have requested and suggest that they contact the Force in order for a response to be provided.
How your request will be handled
On receiving your request we will assess it to determine whether we hold the information requested and whether it can be provided to you. If there are statutory exemptions why the information is to be withheld, we will inform you of those exemptions that apply and the reasons why.
We will respond to your request within 20 working days following receipt of your request. If your request is not clear we will contact you to clarify the information you are seeking, until we have clarification of the information requested your request will not be processed and the 20 working days will not commence until we have sufficient clarification to continue. What to do if you are unhappy with our response
If you are dissatisfied with our response to your request for information, you have a right to an internal review conducted by someone who was not involved in the handling of your request. You will be informed of the outcome of the review in writing.
If you are still not satisfied you can make a complaint to Information Commissioner’s office.
