Today, Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn joined officers, staff, and members of the community at Police Headquarters in Carmarthen to observe a minute's silence for Armistice Day. The gathering paid tribute to those who have served and sacrificed in conflicts past and present.

Reflecting on the importance of remembrance, Commissioner Llywelyn expressed gratitude for the dedication and courage shown by members of the Armed Forces and emergency services, whose efforts have safeguarded peace and security for communities across Dyfed-Powys and beyond.

"Today, we stand together in respect and remembrance for those who have given so much in service," he said. "Their legacy is an enduring reminder of the strength and resilience that our communities value."

The commemoration at Police Headquarters was part of nationwide events honouring the fallen and recognising the lasting impact of their sacrifices.
