Dyfed-Powys recognised across four categories at Safer Communities Awards 2025
Nominations submitted by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) have been shortlisted for national recognition at the Safer Communities Awards 2025, with each nominee set to either be name a category winner or highly commended for their contribution to community safety.
The Dyfed-Powys nominations include:
- Aeron Arts – supporting victims and survivors through creative expression and therapeutic arts.
- Youth Ambassador Bradley – championing young people’s voices in policing and community safety.
- Operation Scotney – protecting older vulnerable people from fraud and scams.
- Paladin – a trauma-informed service established in 2013, to assist high risk victims of stalking in England and Wales.
Police and Crime Commissioner, Dafydd Llywelyn said:
“I am incredibly proud that Dyfed-Powys has received recognition across four categories at the Safer Communities Awards. Each of our nominees has made a significant contribution to safeguarding our communities, supporting vulnerable people, and strengthening local safety partnerships.

The awards ceremony which takes place 27 November 2025, will confirm whether each nominee has been named as an outright winner or highly commended in their category.
