The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys has released its Annual Report for 2023-24, which highlights the significant achievements and challenges faced by the police service over the past year. This comprehensive report outlines the progress made towards the key priorities set out in the Police and Crime Plan for 2021-2025, focusing on the essential areas of supporting victims, preventing harm, and enhancing the effectiveness of the justice system.

Throughout the year, the Dyfed-Powys Police have been under the spotlight, and the report reflects the commitment of officers and staff to meet the evolving needs of the community. The report emphasises the importance of community engagement, with Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn having visited numerous communities to listen to the public's concerns and feedback.

In his foreword, Commissioner Llywelyn said, “This year has presented significant challenges, yet it has also highlighted the dedication of our officers and staff in serving the communities of Dyfed-Powys. By listening to the public and adapting our services, we are striving to create safer environments for all. I am proud of the collaborative efforts showcased in this report, and I remain committed to ensuring that every voice is heard. Our focus on being accountable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of our communities is paramount.”
