Freedom of Information
How to make a freedom of information request
Under the Freedom of Information Act (2000), requests need to be made in writing (by email or letter). Please provide the following information when making a request:
- Your name
- Contact Address
- Description of the information you seek

We must respond to you within 20 working days. However, there may be occasions where we cannot provide you with the information you seek. Where this is the case, we will explain our reasons for this using the relevant section of the legislation to support the decision.
Subject Access Requests

You can request access by making a “Subject Access Request”.
How to make a subject access request
Subject Access Requests can be made in writing or orally.
To guide you through the process please refer to our Subject Access Request Form.
It is not compulsary to use this form to make your request, however, using this form will ensure we have all the necessary information to enable us to process your request without undue delay.
We are legislated to respond to you within one month. There may be occasions where we cannot provide you with the information you seek. Where this is the case, we will explain our reasons for this using the relevant section of the legislation to support the decision. If you are unhappy with a decision there will be an internal appeals procedure followed by a right to appeal to the Information Commissioner.
